Nike Role 1: Lean Consultant
My initial assignment at Nike involved consulting on Lean/Agile best practices to support the IT department’s continuous improvement initiatives. My contributions led to the creation of the organization’s first Lean/Agile playbook, providing development teams with a structured guide to enhance the software delivery process. In this role, I played a key advisory role in planning and executing initiatives such as Gemba Walks, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Kaizen Continuous Improvement Events, Product Demos, Release Retrospectives, Process Design, and Change Management activities.
Nike Role 2: Sr. Systems/UX Analyst
For my next assignment at Nike, I was brought on to help build a new cross-functional Agile development team, leveraging my previous experience as a Lean Methodology Consultant for Nike IT. Our team focused on developing a financial forecasting, margin reporting, and price optimization solution. I played a key role in guiding the team through the adoption of Lean/Agile processes, conducting user research, defining personas, and shaping product requirements. Additionally, I contributed to front-end UI design and actively participated in product backlog refinement and user story estimation.
